I work with people who are trying to become pregnant or who are currently pregnant. This can be a very exciting but also stressful time in your life. I work with people dealing with issues including: PMADS ( perinatal/postpartum mood and anxiety disorders), partner conflict, adjustment to new life stage, miscarriage and more.
Postpartum care in the United States is horribly lacking. Most people have heard of postpartum depression, however there are many issues that can arise during this sensitive and challenging time. I work with people who are dealing with PMADs, babies in the NICU, babies with health issues, postpartum health issues, postpartum relationship issues, difficulty adjusting to new life circumstances and more.
I work with people who are pursuing eating disorder recovery.
I believe in working with a comprehensive treatment team that includes a registered dietitian ( RD) , your primary care provider, and if needed a psychiatrist and group therapist.

I believe diets are harmful.
I support people who are pursuing recovery and wish to follow a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle**. I also support people who are trying to transition away from being vegetarian or vegan to support their recovery.
**there may be some specific instances in which temporary adjustments need to be made to pursue recovery, but I will always work with you and your team to ensure we are trying to follow your ethical principles as closely as possible.
