About Megan A. Hittner Therapy

Megan A. Hittner Therapy, previously Tri2Flow, was started by Megan Hittner, LCSW, PMH-C (she/her) in 2015 after she transitioned to full-time private practice. Originally services focused on psychotherapy for individuals in eating disorder recovery. Megan closed her office practice in 2018 to welcome her daughter to the world. Megan spent some time as a full time care giver to her daughter before welcoming her twins in 2021, and taking some time to be home with them as well.

Megan is currently seeing patients virtually through a secure online platform. Megan is licensed to see patients in NJ and NY.

Inspired by her own challenges with pregnancy and postpartum, Megan spent some time receiving training in perinatal mental health. She has completed the following trainings through Seleni Institute : Maternal Mental Health Intensive: Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders, Maternal Mental Health Intensive: Perinatal Loss & Grief, The Maternal Mental Health Intensive for Teens: Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders, COVID-19 Pandemic, Trauma, and Grief. Megan Completed Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy Training through Postpartum Support International and after passing her exam received her PMH-C ( Perinatal Mental Health-Certification).

Her practice will now focus primarily on perinatal mental health, but she will continue to work with patients focused on eating disorder recovery. Megan works with people who are pregnant, postpartum, intended and new parents. Being a birthing parent is NOT a requirement for seeking support in perinatal mental health.
