Q. Do you accept insurance?

A. No, I do not currently accept insurance. This decision allows me to focus on providing personalized and high-quality care without being restricted by the limitations often associated with insurance-based practices. I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. This means that if you have out of network benefits you can submit the bill to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. It's important to check with your insurance provider regarding their policies on out-of-network coverage.

Q. What is a superbill, and how does it work?

A. A superbill is a detailed invoice that includes the services provided during your session. You can submit this document to your insurance company to request reimbursement for out-of-network services. It's recommended to check with your insurance provider beforehand to understand their specific reimbursement process. The CPT codes I bill under are 90791 for initial sessions, 90834 for individual therapy and 90853 for group therapy.

Q. What is your fee?

A. My fee is $250 for initial sessions ( 1 hour) and $200 for follow up sessions ( 45-50 minutes). Group therapy rates are $80 per session ( 1 hour)

Q. Do you offer a free consultation?

A.Yes, I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. This provides an opportunity for you to ask any additional questions you may have and get a sense of whether my services align with your needs.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to a fee. This policy is in place to ensure efficient scheduling and to respect the time reserved for each client.

Q. How often will we meet?

A. I generally recommend either weekly session but can accommodate biweekly sessions, depending on your individual needs and preferences. Consistent sessions provide a structure for progress and continuity in our work together. However, the frequency can be adjusted based on your evolving requirements and progress in therapy. Regular sessions are essential for building a strong therapeutic relationship and achieving optimal outcomes. For people requesting biweekly sessions, I do encourage at least a month of weekly sessions to help establish rapport and build the foundation of the therapeutic relationship.
